  Avoid at all costs - Does not care about the client & if you ask a question about his contract he will refuse you service Mr Hilley declined my mother's case [Speeding Ticket - she is 69 years old] What is interesting to me is the timing of his decision. Right after I questioned a clause on his contract that is open-ended and says whatever costs he incurs in representing my mother can become a charge for her in the future. Candidly, no sane and sober person should ever agree to such clause, so that leads me to think he is either very unsophisticated, deliberately trying to set people up for unforeseen, unplanned and unbudgeted expenses or just does not care about his potential clients. As if this wasn't enough, his paralegal tells me that said contract is a standard Florida Bar Contract. Now, if that is the case, God help us. I dont want to know who created those templates and I feel bad for lawyers who arent creative enough to draft a form that is not so unilateral towards them and actually shows clients they they are protected and cared about. Then the story gets even better, I make the mistake of calling the florida bar [licensing agency for lawyers/attorneys in the State of Florida] First thing they tell me: Mr Hilley used a Standard Florida Bar Contract. To which I respond: Who am I kidding? Florida Bar Entity is structured to protect their own and not the consumer of course. So Mr. Hilley can use the "standard" contract, as unilateral as it is because it is legal [according the the peanut gallery at florida bar] and I reminded "Bill" the attorney who took my complaint that, just a few years ago, slavery was legal too and it took a few people disagreeing with it for change to happen. But I do agree, that as long as enough people tolerate these nonsensical standard contracts and idiotic attorneys, the consumer have no alternative, these so called professional who are really pseudo professionals or wannabes to thrive in their delusion they are helping the public. Stand up and support lawyers who care and never these command and control incompetent and negligent lawyers who can only advocate in their dreams. Now the point of the story: Lawyers have a despicable reputation and it's tough to feel bad for them because they dig a massive grave for themselves so they might as well jump in and enjoy it.

  I recommend anyone to have Tim Hilley and his assistant Jamie help you in your case. The whole staff is very professional . They are a best team and helped me win my case. They have gone above and beyond and I'm very blessed to have them on my side.

  There are times in life you encounter the unexpected and unreasonable, I was reminded frequently but patiently the wheels of justice turn slowly and sometimes have the appearance of unequal balance. I have been fortunate enough to have been in this situation only twice and have been more fortunate to have met Mr. Timothy Hilley and his staff. In the first case we received a favorable judgment through determination, research and little known discovery that was applicable to Florida State law. The second case was a bit more complicated "the wheels of justice" but also resulted in a favorable judgment. I thank Mr. Hilley and his awesome staff for their thorough, aggressive and unending determination which resulted in the positive outcome for their client while never losing sight of dignity, and respect with overall honesty.
